students are shown the proper technique
for slicing, organizing and crimping
CAT-5E cabling.

• Both ends of the cable are prepared.

• The cable is then checked with a multi-check
cable tester.

• These CAT-5E cables will be used to connect Cisco routers to student computers.

• After the connection is made, the students will begin configuring each router.
